I wasn't sure I was going to see this movie. The critical mass of positivity on the internet — which is generally not a beacon of positivity — was what got me there. I'm glad it did. Four stars and a heart on Letterboxd.

Curry Barker is so confident behind the camera you can feel the reps. But this movie doesn't work without Indy Navarrete — she's the focal point of the obsession and the reason to see it. Puckish, hardened, a little chaotic. She owns every scene.

$750,000 budget. $200 million worldwide and climbing. See it in a theater before it's gone.
